Justin is a co-founder of Tinkerine Studios Ltd. With a B.Sc. in Interactive Arts & Technology from Simon Fraser University, Justin leads the software development at Tinkerine.

Todd was an integral part of the MakerBot marketing team that successfully launched their physical NY store. Todd was selected as one of the 100 most influential individuals for 2013 in the 3D printing industry.

Ben Yan, B.Sc., MBA

Head of Channels Development

Currently the CEO of GoHotZone.com, Ben Yan has more than 35 years of extensive management experience with Fortune 50 companies, including Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems and Abbott Laboratories. During his time at HP, Ben was involved in several areas including Channel Management in distribution, setting up the dealer network, and other industry sectors, such as government, telecom, natural resources, system integration, ISV (independent software vendor) and financial services. Ben also co-founded GT Group Telecom, where revenues exceeded $225 million CAD annually, with a market cap of more than $1.2 billion dollars. He is currently a director of GiniClub.com, and held previous senior management positions with SinoFibre Communications and Municipal Software.

Desmond Liew

Chairman of the Board, Tinkerine

Desmond is the International Director of Operations and Development at Bing Han International, headquartered in Taiwan, with global offices in Canada, USA, Russia, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Macau. Desmond leads 500 staff with strong vision and direction that has helped Bing Han become a world leading ginseng company. He is also the founder and CEO of Taiwan Rare Earth Ltd., a rare earths supply and export company.

Bob Longo

CEO & President, Knowmatters Inc.

Mr. Longo is current Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) and President of Knowmatters, Inc., a US­based education firm focused on cognitive learning and artificial intelligence. Mr. Longo has specific expertise in CEO strategic and operational support, sales, marketing, executive general management and strategic planning. Mr. Longo previously held senior positions with Apple Inc., Carnegie Learning, Studywiz, SchoolOne and NeXT Inc. During his tenure at Apple and NeXT his duties included responsibilities in both the K­12 and Higher Education markets. Mr. Longo worked with Steve Jobs three times. He headed up the K­12 market and later was President of Apple’s PowerSchool Division, leading it to three consecutive years of increased growth in revenue, profit and market share. This included recognition as the Software Information Industry Association’s (SIIA) CODIE winner each year, for Best Software in its category. Mr. Longo was President, CEO and Vice Chairman at Carnegie Learning, a leading adaptive math software developer and publisher. He successfully launched the Carnegie Mellon’s spin­out penetrating 40% of the largest 100 US School Districts in its first 36 months, while tripling revenue each year. At Carnegie Learning he was recognized as an Ernst & Young Software Entrepreneur of the Year and was twice invited to present to the US governors at their Education Technology Summit. At both PowerSchool and Carnegie Learning his teams secured 99% Customer Retention Rates. Mr. Longo was Executive Vice President at Studywiz, and was responsible for the expansion of sales to K­12 schools in North America and for developing strategic relationships with major industry partners including Apple, Google and Microsoft. Mr. Longo was CEO of SchoolOne, an education technology company that developed and marketed web­based, enterprise, information software solutions to the K­12 market, their clients included all of the Catholic Schools in the Silicon Valley.
