I recently got a Dyson V6. I'm really impressed with the motor, but a bit disappointed with the head attachments. I reverse engineered this simple 3D printable piece to adapt the vacuum to my shop-vac attachments. This is especially useful for cleaning a car.
If you want to print your own here's the file: Dyson.STL
To design the piece i just took my time with a pair of digital calipers and drew up the piece in Solidworks. I made a few adjustments to the original geometry to make it printable without any support. It took a few tries to get everything to fit just right, but the finished result works great.
