Engineering Design Process: Rubber Band Cars

Focus of this project is to explore rubber band car design. Similar to a engineering design process, you’ll need to:

    1. Identify objectives

    2. Identify constraints

    3. Brainstorm ideas

    4. Select a design

    5. Build a prototype

    6. Test your design

    7. Refine your design

    8. Repeat.

Select from a variety of connectors and wheels to add to the chassis. Printed components can be joined using wooden skewers and locked in place by screwing down #2 3/8” screws.
