TinkerCoin for Shopping Carts

I always have a tendency to not carry cash, so whenever I go grocery shopping, I don't have coins for a shopping cart. I also don't want to be leaving coins in the car in case I get broken into. This is not by all means to encourage printing money, but really, the convenience to go grocery shopping. (I don't think this will work in a vending machine since I think it goes by weight anyways).

I'm really new to 3D modeling, so starting out very very simple.

I first took a caliper to a Loonie and measured the diameter and thickness.

I then went to TinkerCAD and pulled the Cylinder out onto the drawing grid. I had quite a bit of trouble at first as I wanted to put in the exact measurements, but there was no option to do so. The grid was also set to 1.0, so I had lots of trouble getting it to be accurate. I finally asked for help and was told that I could set it to 0.1 to be more accurate. This fixed most the the problems for me, but wanting it to be a circle, it was hard being so precise adjusting the size on both horizontal and vertical planes.

It was only after I finished this, that I realized when you put the ruler down, you are able to change the size to what you want it to be. Makes things so much easier!

I wanted it to have a bit more of a customization, so I just threw on the Tinkerine logo. I did have a hard time making sure everything was at the same level, but I think for my first model, I did an okay job. I haven't actually tried it at a store yet, so I will update later. Hopefully it won't get stuck in a cart! Please let me know if anyone has tried.

    Thank you!
